About Josh's Auto Body

Located at 911 S McDonald St, McKinney, TX 75069, Josh's Auto Body operates as an auto body shop serving McKinney in Texas. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

Body shops repair collision damage, dents, rust and paint, and most work directly with insurance companies: you can choose any shop, not only the insurer's preferred one, and the shop will write a supplement if hidden damage turns up. Paintless dent repair fixes hail and door dings without repainting. Detailing shops clean and protect interiors and paint, from a basic wash-and-wax to ceramic coatings and paint protection film. Car washes range from self-service bays to express tunnels with monthly memberships. Upholstery shops repair seats, headliners and convertible tops, and restoration shops bring classic and collector cars back to original or custom condition.

The business lists hours on 5 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 8 am–5 pm. Note that it does not open on Saturday, Sunday. McKinney is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around McKinney is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I had a truly positive experience with Josh's Body Shop & Collision. The team was honest, highly knowledgeable, and genuinely committed to helping me repair my Jeep. Unlike other shops, they made me feel welcomed and were exceptionally courteous throughout the process. I am pleased to say that I have finally found my forever body shop!

Wow! Josh's Body Shop is a rare gem. Cory is definitely a master at his job, he was in continuous contact with me during my vehicle's repair process and did almost all of the communication with the insurance company. I had to leave town for a few weeks during the repair and my car was waiting when I got back. Definitely worth the wait. He sent the driver, Mike, to pick me up.After a pleasant trip to the shop I was shortly on the way home with my car. This shop has an amazingly small town feel. Josh, the owner was just hanging out in the office, so I got to meet him. The employees here are honest, friendly, and produce expert results. My vehicle had extensive damage to the rear quarter panel, right in the character line. I spent many years doing surface inspections on vehicles and I can honestly say they know what they are doing. The repaired side looks identical to the opposite side. I am new to McKinney and there are so many body shops, it's hard to know where to go. I am so happy to have chosen Josh's and will most certainly return here for any future needs.

It's hard to know anything about auto body repairs, whether from accidents or hail, if you're not in the industry. That leaves a lot of folks struggling to decide on what shop they should pick after an unfortunate event. Should you go with a big name that you recognize from TV ads? Should you go with a local small business? Should you just ask the insurance company (across the country) where to have it repaired? How do you get good information about the trustworthiness and quality of the work that you're requesting?? LET ME TELL YOU, Josh's Auto Body will check all the boxes and ensure you go back should you ever need work done again. Reliable ✅️ Experts ✅️ Highest quality repairs ✅️ works with insurance ✅️ Hail damage repairs too ✅️ Fair prices ✅️ Clean shop ✅️ Owners and employees who care who you are ✅️ I really can't say enough about Cory and his team's professionalism, plus home-town kindness and responsibility. My family and I have used Josh's Auto Body for 15+ years for every accident, incident, fender bender, hail damage, and every other impact to our personal vehicles and our work cars. They've been helpful and clear in every situation, especially helping us repair and res
